Ned Dylan spent his teens playing raucous, electrifying live sets at UK festivals like Glastonbury, BoomTown, Bestival and Secret Garden Party.
Now 20, Ned is getting ready to relaunch his music later this year after taking some time out to develop his music with rising London producer Oliver Mac (Sleepwalkrs) and pioneering producer/engineer Greg "Wizard" Fleming who's best known for working with M.I.A., the Chemical Brothers, Chase & Status, Jamie T and D Double E.
Ned makes genrebending UK pop with social-commentary-filled lyrics that tell true stories from Ned's life and the people closest to him.
Ned writes all his own songs, with everything he writes starting on piano or guitar.
Ned will also be returning to live gigs later this year with a live show that blends the electronic, dance, house, pop heart of Ned's music with live instrumentation - including the brass that can be heard throughout Ned's upcoming, unreleased music. 2023 will see Ned return to his roots on the UK festival circuit too.
"Genrebending UK pop storytelling"
"Power. Passion. Presence. 'Nuff said" - Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
“The days we spent together were priceless, Ned’s lyrics are seriously challenging and a bit revolutionary. I love working with people who have so much to say. The fact he interviewed Patti Smith when he was 11 and has been playing festival gigs since then too, well that is purely outstanding”. - Gordon Raphael, producer of the Strokes 'Is This It' and Regina Spektor's 'Soviet Kitsch'
"I'm already hooked" - Jim Gellatly, Amazing Radio & the Scottish Sun
“Saw very talented songwriter Ned Dylan at Watchet Festival. Don’t miss.” - Sir Tim Rice
"He's a natural at the guitar and has impressive vocals to boot, and then there's the quality of his songwriting. He explores young love, the brevity and unfairness of life and even cocaine addiction. A young, budding star to watch." - American Songwriter
